Create your own pair of clay tiles, and decorate with surface patterns, relief forms, or both!
On the 25th March, we will work with the clay to create your designs, thinking about your ideas and inspiration, and the glaze or oxide colours you will be applying in the second session on 8th April. Once you have completed your tiles, I will place them in the drying cabinet, ready for the first firing and for you to decorate on your next visit.
The tiles can be landscapes, creatures, mandalas, abstract or symmetrical - totally up to you.
The workshops are suitable for beginners too, and for a maximum of 8 people.
The cost per person includes all the materials, glazes and two firings - plus teas, coffees and cake of course! - for the two sessions.
Time: 10am to 1pm
