The Crafts Gallery , based at Craft Renaissance between Abergavenny and Usk, is an unique & inclusive creative space, showcasing local makers & artisans from Wales and the Borders, who form a Collective of Maker Members.

There are 30 Makers, and we share the stewarding duties.

The original gallery grew organically from the Artisan Markets, opening in 2019. It had become obvious that the majority of the makers at the markets did not have anywhere to showcase their work as most of us work from sheds, dining rooms or little studios at home. I felt it would be to everyone’s advantage to create a colelctive, where we helped each other, and could offer the public a unique venue.
The second opportunity presented itself in the summer of 2023, to run another collective at the space at Craft Renaissance, and is happilythriving!
